QuestionWhat's the difference between this MU6290 model and the UN40MU6300FXZASKU? I see that both feature HDR Pro, Essential Black Pro and Color Drive so I'm trying to figure out which set to go with.

- Answer The only difference between the two is the 6300 comes with the magic remote and the 6290 a basic remote.

QuestionSamsung says on their web site this TV has 4K HDR Pro but Best Buy say no HDR who is correct? Looks like the only difference between this TV (the 6290) and the more expensive (6300) is that the 6300 has remote Voice control and Bluetooth - is that true?

- Answer Go with what Samsung states on their website, not Best Buy as Best Buy has not correctly listed the specs for this television and since I have seen Samsung themselves respond to customer questions here, I am rather surprised Samsung themselves have not reached out to Best Buy to have them make the rather important correction to the specs for this television. Yes, this model does feature 4K HDR Pro.

- Answer I just was told by Samsung US support that does in fact support HDR. I am going to give it shot and report back here after seeing what the XBOX ONE X says in settings.

- Answer Go to Settings —> General —> Eco Solution and make sure Ambient Light Detection is disabled, Power Saving Mode is off, and Motion Lighting is off. Then go to Settings —> Picture —> Expert Settings and make sure Backlight is at least 14 or so and Contrast at least 90. Brightness should be 0. Check Auto Motion Plus Settings and make sure LED Clear Motion is turned off. You might also try setting Gamma to 1. Finally, under Settings —> General —> External Device Manager, if HDMI Black Level is Auto or Normal, try setting it to Low.

- Answer It does not have a VGA or DVI connector, just HDMI, three of them (and assorted video, RGB, composite). If your laptop supports HDMI out, yes, works fine. It also supports Miracast, so if you have a reasonably new laptop with Windows 10 (or 8), you can likely do this wirelessly. That works well too.

QuestionI'm having the hardest time connecting to my wifi. It says that there's no connection and if I'm lucky it'll sometimes eventually connect. Everything else connects (phones, computers) so I don't think it's my WiFi. Anyone have his problem?

- Answer It's not your wifi, it's the stupid TV. I tried everything, and finally broke down and bought a Roku with the Ultra HD capability. Another $100 I had to spend, but now it works perfectly. Also even when you do get the wireless to work (you have to unplug the TV and wait a bit and then plug it back in everytime you want to stream), it's very difficult to work within the streaming apps with the Samsung remote. In fact, if you're watching Amazon and want Closed Captioning, it's impossible to turn it on and off. With the Roku device, it's difficult (they've changed their software that works with Ultra HD). You have to use two different buttons on the remote and do 5 clicks. With my older TV and Roku 3, it only required that I press the * (star) button once to turn CC on and off.
