• It does not have a VGA or DVI connector, just HDMI, three of them (and assorted video, RGB, composite). If your laptop supports HDMI out, yes, works fine. It also supports Miracast, so if you have a reasonably new laptop with Windows 10 (or 8), you can likely do this wirelessly. That works well too.
