“I just bought this TV and set it up yesterday. I can't get the remote to change the channel. What am I doing wrong/ not doing? Isn't that the most basic thing after turning on the TV?”

Just be sure there are batteries in the remote and be sure they are good Point the remote at the tv Be sure to have the input set to air or antenna You will have to connect your antenna or cable box and scan the channels into the tv. Use the auto scan It tells the what channels are in your area
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This may sound stupid but when you turn it on do you see Samsung smart tv come up on the screen? Is the "source "set to tv and not aux or HDMI? Are you able to get a station and then not able to change from there? I honestly can't think of why you wouldn't be able to change it. Not sure if you have cable or are using an antenna like I am.
