“I'm enjoying this tv a lot. But, does it have a pause button on the remote so I can pause viewing? Also I have older 2005 Bose surround sound speakers. The delivery guy said I needed an adapter for the cables to my speakers!? true?”

I would imagine your Bose system has a toslink optical audio input. It is one of three ways to get audio out of the television. Pause is second from the left on the bottom row of your remote. I included a link to the cable below. I hope this helps
