The TV is a hair under 38" wide, and feet sit 8" deep. I uploaded a couple of photos. The cabinet in back is 4' wide and 11" deep. The TV sat easily, and was very stable on that cabinet. We set an old chest in front of the cabinet because we preferred it more at eye level. We'll be moving in the foreseeable future, so I'll probably set it on a different furniture piece later.
