Hello, yes you can install other apps from the built-in App Store. Samsung is working to make the Xfinity App available on our 2020 TVs. ^Gina

Not sure what the Comcast beta app is.

However, there are several apps pre-installed (Netflix, YouTube, etc). And there are many more that can be installed from the Google store. You'll need a Google store account in order to download. Is via an interface in the TV, not online (as far as I can tell) via your phone. I did this for Disney+.
