Hi Alie, the Samsung Family Hub connects to Samsung Q70T, Q80T and above. To successfully connect your TV to the Family Hub on your refrigerator, you will need at least a Q70T. ^Gina

I am not aware of how that would take place. While I'll admit that I am a bit old school, I am curious as to why you would want to access the t.v. in this way. Why not do a standard hook up with a cable box and an HDMI cable, which will get the t.v. up and running, (after accessing the t.v's set up menu and clicking on HDMI ( for the incoming signal from the cable box), and placing the t.v. on either channel 3 or 4. I've got mine set to channel 3. As for how to fix the issue with your fridge not recognizing the t.v. as an available device. . . that is better left to Best Buy's Geek Squad. . . it is beyond my scope of expertise. Sorry.
