Where is sleep timer and light in remote null

The button to access the sleep timer is right below the volume toggle on the remote control. The remote control is not back lit and there is no ambience lighting on the TVr. So I cannot answer to that. The IR light (to talk to the TV) is at the top of the remote.

Hi Dee! The remote for the 43TU7000 does not feature back-lighting for the buttons. The sleep timer can be activated by using your TV remote, navigate to Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer, and then select the amount of time you would like the TV to stay on before powering itself off. You can set the sleep timer up to 180 minutes, after which the TV will turn off. ^Tim
