The TU8000 also offers one Composive (AV) input, and an additional HDMI and USB port. - Answer Hey J111 - The 43TU8000 does have a built in tuner for OTA antennas but reception depends on the are you live and whether your antenna is amplified or not. - Answer glblack, the 43TU8000 uses a wall mount with a VESA Standard of 200mm x 200mm. The width from the mounting holes to the outside of the 43TU8000 is 15" on each side. The distance from the top mounting hole to the top of the TV is 3.67". The distance from the bottom mounting hole to the bottom of the TV is 10.3". The distance between the top and bottom mounting holes is 7.87". ^Gina

- Answer It is curved, but I have built a platform with 3/8 "plywood and attached the top with an earthquake kit. It is very secure but not visible.

- Answer Hi Hopeful - Some DVD players do have HDMI - VCRs usually don't. However, the TU8000 just happens to have the connection for the red, white and yellow cables that are needed, as well as HDMI. You will be taking analog and converting it to digital so the quality will not be as good as the TV could do wth a Blu-Ray player. All Blu-Ray and 4K Blu-Ray players do play DVDs and CDs and do a great job at upscaling them.
