QuestionHow is the picture at night, low light. I bought a 55ks8000 and returned it due to the picture quality at night being washed out and blurry. In a room with a lot of light, the picture was amazing. I tried recommended settings from computer and Samsung.

- Answer That depends. How is your receiver connected to your current TV? The KS8000 has no analog outputs. It has a Toslink (optical) output for sound, and it also supports ARC (audio return channel) HDMI. (It also does Bluetooth, but I haven't heard of anyone connecting to a receiver that way.) ARC is normally used as a two-way communication between the receiver and the TV, but it won't work for 4k unless the receiver passes that. I have read that it can be used to send audio (only) from the TV to the receiver.

- Answer No. The frame on the UN49KS800D (variant sold in the warehouse stores) is gunmetal gray. It's supposed to be identical in function to the UN49KS8000. The slightly different model number may be to avoid price matching.
