Q: QuestionPrior question asks if this TV is DIRECTV Ready (aka RVU client), the answer was no. But on the spec sheet on the Samsung website is says YES for RVU/DIRECTV Ready. So wondering what the answer really is.
Asked by T18C97.
- A:Answer OK, last week Samsung came out with firmware release 1111 for a short time. Since my setup said auto download I got this update which did add the DIRECTV Ready/RVU support. I connected a DECA-BB to the DIRECTV coax and the ethernet from the DECA to the TV and paired it to my Genie, replacing a hardware client and it works. But sounds like Samsung has pulled this release for the moment.
