“Can you hook up an older dvd player to this television?? If not do you have to get a blu-ray player and can you play regular dvd's on a blu-ray??? Why do you always have to purchase something else when your other tv set fails after 4 years Ugh!!!!”

• Depends on the older player. If it has HDMI, as most do, then you can connect. Even if the player does not have HDMI, the TV also has older connection options but quality will be limited to the connection type used.. Just need the wires.
