A:Answer I bought this model about five weeks ago. I'd done some research online and liked a smaller model in the line without the HD. While I was in the store my eye kept going back to the smaller version of this model though...the resolution/saturation of the color, and the sound were exactly what I was looking for. Then I saw this size and bought it. It's amazing for live events, news, animated features etc. For scripted shows and films, I am finding it a bit harder to adjust to the crispness of the resolution because it's a bit too real. Comedies especially seem to fall a bit flat, I think it's because the HD resolution makes the shows look like live action. I still need to play with the settings a bit for each genre, but I don't regret getting this model. My kid (19) is obsessed with it.
