Greetings! We are happy to answer your question about the VRT of this Samsung washing machine model. The VRT does not need to adjust itself. As long as the installation is done properly (shipping bolts have been removed, the washer is level on sturdy ground, etc) the VRT will work with the first cycle. Leo
