• Unfortunately you cannot change the default setting, howevervto just use cold only get an adapter place it on the cold nozzle and the other 2 connect the hot water line and the cold water line to the adapter to eliminate the hot water. That is the only way i saw to make cold water the default.

• I tried switching the hoses. For some strange reasons it doesn’t default to cold only if using the after you pause and fill with active jet . Set on hot can manually change temperature
