The Samsung washer lid is ridiculously slanted forward and down. One cannot place anything on top without it sliding off. Poor design, a major flaw preventing my recommending it. Reason: Could the slanted lid be an attempt to appear esthetically more sleek or "modern?" If one attempts to place a piece of clothing on top along side a spot removal spray bottle, the bottle falls over the the cloths sljde off. Horrible design!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn’t say the top is slanted but I wouldn’t say it was flat either - it is hard to explain. There is a little bit of a grayish tint to the lid but you can see thru it. I love this new washer!
