“Does this washer have a RUST issue ? On the lid where the lid attaches to washer & above the softener / detergent draw ... mine is not even 3 years old & the paint is coming off in these areas & it’s RUSTING ! HELP !”

My old machine did the same. I've only had this washer for a few weeks, so I can't say for sure if it will rust. That being said, the lid, the top of the machine, and the area that the detergent/fabric softener drawer slides into are made of plastic. I don't forsee the same issues with the rusting inside the compartment or on the top of the dispenser drawer as in our older models.
