I use stain remover on my clothes all the time. I don’t know why you can’t use it. It’s no different then detergent. The stain remover actually concentrates on the stain when used and not the whole load. Used with the detergent it should work.

Great question, Zantar! I checked the user manual for this model (https://bit.ly/3h3DkxJ) to be sure. Page 61 does advise to use stain removal products prior to the wash cycle, and only as necessary. ^Jecca
