• Yes you can wash either hot and cold. You just need to follow the instructions but is very easy to use.

• Samsung washing machines uses both hot and cold water dynamically in a system called Auto Temperature Control. Different parts of the cycle will use either hot or cold water, or both. For instance, the Warm cycle uses only cold water until the final rinse. Some temperature settings, even those labeled Cold, will still use the hot water line if the temperature goes below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. We thank you for choosing Samsung! ^Lena
