We have a dog and a cat; this washer works well in removing most of the pet hair from bedding & the pet fleece blankets. We have the matching dryer and once the items are dry there is still some pet hair that's part of the lint on the filter, so the washer doesn't remove 100% of the hair. But once items have been both washed and dried, all the pet hair is removed and the items turn out to be very clean and pet hair-free!
