“The dialogue is really quiet forcing the volume to be turned up a lot in order to hear what people are saying. However, Sound effects(such as explosions) are as loud as they should be so the volume has to be adjusted frequently. Any solutions?”

Use the button on the remote to turn down the woofer, that's where all the bass comes from. I run mine around -2 for vocal movies, and around +2 for action movies. Also toggle the different surround modes to see if one does better for vocals.
