• The speaker set up is powered. Just plug straight into the wall. There are a few different ways you can hook your Blu Ray player up. HDMI to the TV then if your TV has an Optics out run that to the soundbar. If not you can run your HDMI from your Blu Ray player into the speaker itself, then run another HDMI from the speaker to the TV.
