Yes, it should. The gas will not ignite unless you have a source like a lighter. The ignition is electric, but the gas will come on.

Hi Nevets! The cooktop burners can be manually lit. Page 26 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3fuFUbV) has detailed instructions on how to do this safely. ^Jecca
