“Can this stovetop still be used for cooking when the power is out? We lose power a lot and it is great to still be able to boil water or cook a hamburger when the power is out. This stove has far more electronics on it than my old stove has, but the old stove ALWAYS works.”

Hi Jennifer, The cook top burners on Samsung Gas Ranges can be lit manually and used when your power goes out. Thanks for the question, Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The stovetop has electric ignition. That said, if you can operate a match or lighter, you should still be able to light the burners. Don't try using the oven, though. It is totally controlled by the electronics.
