A:AnswerWhen the oven is on, there is a lot of heat that escapes through the back vent under the control panel. This does cause a lot of heat to be present on the back half of the back burners. I have not had the experience of the heat escaping from the top center burner. The owner's manual does describe the heat that will be generated from the back vent but couldn't find anything about the center burner. May be worth a call to SamSung...

A:AnswerDon't bother, the surface area is pretty small and the griddle plate only has the one cooking side, and costs $125-$150. We got the 2 sided lodge griddle plate, $30. Has grill side and on the side has the smooth griddle side.

A:AnswerAs for seasoning the grates of a gas stove, the Internet search gave mixed answers. Uncertain purpose for doing so, be it to prevent rusting or cook wear sticking. Some responses did using oil or animal fat while others did not. Seems the manual did not specify nor unable to find. With ours we lighted burners for cooking and off we went.
