“Does this have an electric pilot light? I bought a gas range about 10 years ago only to find out that when we lost power during a hurricane, the stove would not work! Changed over to electric, but going back to gas now - it's the only way to cook.”

All gas stoves use electric pilot lights to save gas. You can still light the burners with a match or any kind of lighter. I had to unplug my range because the electronics don't work anymore, but I can still use the burners. Don't use the oven without electrical power!
