A standard 120v outlet is fine. I'm waiting for my electrician to come over and install an outlet behind the range location because we have a 220v there now from the previous owner's electric range. so, for now i just have it plugged into an nearby outlet with an extension cord. it uses a pretty light load - just the igniters and the fan, the rest of the range is gas
