“How far out should the front of the stove extend from the side cabinets ? Should the black sides not be seen and the stainless door be flush with the cabinets?”

The black part protrudes by 1/2 inch from the cabinets and is visible. The stainless steel part of course protrudes also by maybe an inch, inch and a half. It looks OK though.
