“Does this oven make noises as a security feature like many new ovens do? I find this "feature" extremely annoying as it's almost a sing-songy tune that goes off whenever our LG oven door opens or it reaches the desired heat level.”

Does not have musical chimes. However, when the oven preheat temp is reached you get a single chime. And if you set a cook time, you’ll get 1 chime with 10 minutes of cook time left and another chime when cook time is complete. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The stove doesn't have any type of tune that goes off when the door opens. The only sounds I've heard from mine are the "beeps" when the oven is up to temp and when the timer you set goes off. Otherwise it's very quiet.
