Thanks for the questions. Both the NE59J3420SW and NE59J7630SW Ranges have ceramic glass cook tops (which are also referred to a smooth) and digital controls (which are also electronic). These are simply different names for the same features. The differences between these models include the True Convection oven and die cast knobs on the NE59J7630SW vs. the regular Convection oven and plastic knobs on the NE59J3420SW. - Ms. Samsung
