• Thanks for the question. Samsung recommends using a 3 or 4-conductor UL-listed range cord rated at 40 amps with 125/250 minimum volt range when installing the NE59J3420SS. Additional information and requirements can be found in the Installation Guide that comes with the Range. - Ms. Samsung

• Yes but dangerous having hard wired. Most building codes do not allow it.

• I don't think the building codes allow that. The oven needs to have a plug of 220 V and have its own fuse in the fuse box. At least that's how it is in San Jose, CA.
