Yes, the broil element for the FE-R300SB is located on the ceiling of the oven cavity, and is controlled electronically with the buttons on the display panel. Like the other Samsung ranges, the broil elements are recessed into the top of the oven, which is a helpful safety measure, since it helps avoid burning your forearm as you reach into the oven, and it also helps ensure that items will brown more evenly. The FE-R300SB also features a generous 5.9 cubic foot capacity oven; four-burner radiant cooktop including two dual and one fast-boil element; Steam Quick for fast, efficient oven cleaning; and a 1.1 cubic foot capacity storage drawer.
