• I think you may need to download an app to stream from a samsung (or any android based) device. An apple device streams through the built in AirPlay but for Samsung phones I think you need to download an app and then it should stream both picture and sound.

• Spencer, as long as your TV and Galaxy S8 are on the same WiFi Network, you should be able to use Smart View to mirror your phone's sound and picture to your TV without any issues. If your phone is still not mirroring to a Samsung device, restarting or rebooting your phone will usually solve the issue. If this issue persists, please contact 1-800-SAMSUNG for troubleshooting. ^Gina
