The problem is that no matter the alleged speed of your service, what is available to your device depends on the speed actually coming into your house, and this can be wildly variable, hour to hour and even minute to minute, depending on a lot of variables you cannot control and cannot even discern but including the usage in your neighborhood (or weather if satellite service). In general, you need about 5 MB/sec to your device; if you are streaming, you may experience pauses while the system catches up
