“When I am steaming Prime videos, the picture does not go to full screen. I have a 3' black space top and bottom. Picture mode is Dynamic and the 16/9 option says it is unavailable. This happens even with 4K movies. Cable channels are fine. Am I screwed?”

Not all movies and shows use a 16:9 format. In fact, Netflix has the same from time to time. Those black lines are normal for a lot of shows and movies. One thing you can do is make sure the formate is set to native.
