• It does seem to have ambient light detection, but the dimming effect seems relatively minimal. It's still going to seem bright in a dark room, but it does technically dim a little.

• Hi there! There is an Ambient Light Detection option. Go to Home > Settings > General > Eco Solution. From there, select Ambient Light Detection. ^Gina
