There is a Sling TV app on this TV. I don't use an Amazon fire stick. It's not needed on the smart TV. Best Buy Geek Squad installed and mounted the TV on my wall for me at a reasonable price and set up my Netflix and Hulu Live apps and connected to my wifi. They showed me the shortcuts on the remote and answered all my questions. I am very pleased with the TV. I don't know the manufacture date. I bought it two days after Christmas.
