Hi AB, a CAT 6 cable is for internet. If you are only going to be streaming channels such as Netflix, Hulu, etc., you should be ok. However, if you plan on watching OTA channels or have a cable device, you will need either a coaxial cable, HDMI cable, etc. ^Val
