• Hi there, the TU7000 will need to be connected to the Internet to utilize any Smart features such as any built-in Apps. If you are utilizing an external cable box, you do not need Internet connectivity. ^Scott

• You can use this TV with just cable. However, if you want to use the TV for any streaming services (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, YouTube), you will need connection to the internet via WiFi or ethernet cord.

• Cable will work just fine. It will ask you on set-up if you'd like to connect via WiFi...just skip.
