On the remote there’s two black rectangle looking buttons. You should be able to push it either up or down on the left one to adjust the volume

To mute the sound, press the button. You can also use the SmartThings app on your cell phone to control your TV. There is also a TV Controller button at the bottom of the TV (just under the Samsung logo). When pressed, the Control menu will appear. Press this button to move from Power, Channel UP/DOWN, Volume UP/DOWN, and Source. Press & Hold to select. ~Samsung Pro
