can tv be operated without the remote? like does it have buttons on the tv somewhere to turn on/off or change channels if you loose remote null

There is a button on the bottom right under the Samsung logo. But I think it’s easier if you have the SmartThings app on your phone. The app is basically a digital version of the remote. Just make sure your connected to WiFi.
