No! Definitely not! It is the worst 4k tv I bought in my life! If you decide to stand up and look more that 30• in an angle you lost quality and color! Terrible

Bought this TV 2 days ago & we will be packing it up to return today. Unless you are right in front of it, the colors fade or wash out as you move to the side by 30 degrees. And, not really happy with the quality of the picture compared to our Sharp that we had to finally replace. Didn't live up to the sales pitch at the store, but he was the Samsung rep!!

The picture is clear... But, the flesh tones really bleach out when you are at any angle greater than 30° off dead center in front of the screen. If I would have known this beforehand, I would have switched to a different tv.

Most 4K have limited viewing angle...had never heard of bad viewing angle losing color at side, left or right. If u r sitting straight on center it’s great color clarity pic but when u move out from center color fades on skin tone mostly. Sort of washes out...weird. I decided to keep it bc price was $329 and for Samsung 50” that a deal. Samsung says they r aware & working on correcting that issue for next yr models 2019. Claim it’s a budget price entry level tv..guess that’s true at $329 for 50” Samsung. Check out Ratings.com for good info on 4K’s....

I notice the screen and the people on it look as though they're in a white light from a side angle. This is looking from my dining room table into the living room while I work, but I listen to it more than I do watch it.
