“Does Spectrum cable lower the volume when connected to Samsung TVs? I have normal volume when I am watching Netflix or Prime, but It is not uncommon to need 70-100 volume range when watching cable.”

Sorry we were away for Thanksgiving. WE don't have Spectrum, but I did notice that I have to have the volume up pretty high, just to hear it. MY hubby wears hearing aids. The commercials are higher, I did notice, just like they used to do. I can have the sound up to just over 50 when we are sitting in the dining room, just to hear what is said. Since we just got it, we are hoping our son in law, who wants to play around with it can do something good with it. When I get it up to 50 or so, it still sound ok, when I come to sit down and listen to it. Hope that helped.

The Auto Volume function automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On. You may also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test. ~Samsung Advisor
