“Does this TV support SoundConnect for wireless soundbar? The Samsung Soundbar instructions say some Samsung TVs can connect without an HDMI cable if the TV supports SoundConnect. I'm not seeing that actual name listed in the specs. Has anyone connected a soundbar to this TV without HDMI cables or do I have to buy one?”

• You do not need an HDMI cable to connect the Samsung Soundbar, just an optical cable. The TV comes with an optical cable, but the sales rep at the store recommended purchasing a better one for higher quality and to avoid pauses in the sound. I did that - spent about $20 - and no issues. The Soundbar is worth the money FYI.
