“Can the remote be programmed to operate a Dolby sound bar?”

• Yes. It is set up through the TV menus. It even supported our older Samsung sound bar.

• Not sure if this relates. It doesn't seem to integrate well with a Samsung soundbar (Samsung TV remote). Sometimes it will other times I have to restart everything.
