Yes, and you can use Samsung's no gap wall mount if you want a close flush look. There's still a bit of a gap, but less than any universal mount.

Yes. I think it's designed to be mounted on a wall. The cords are even designed to be run through the wall so that they aren't seen I think. I didn't mount it to the wall but there are instructions to do so. We love this tv. Works great.
