I was told that it gave it more depth and better color rendition than a regular 4k or 2160p. I guess its 2160p on steroids

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDR gives the picture higher/better luminance levels. This allows the image to really pop and produce a hyper-realistic image. Really works well for landscape shots, and real-world images/film.
