“Our TV is speaking to us when we do volume changes. We have had this TV for a little over a year and has only started this speaking to us in the last month or so. We have it hooked up through a sound system and need to know how to shut off this speaking function. This is not the same as our voice commands to the TV.”

Hi Anon, On the remote, go to main menu -- select "System," then click "Accessibility" and then select "Voice Guide." Make sure it's in the "Off" position. That should take care of the issue.
