The "features" are the difference. Depending on the exact model types, some have 3D, some don't. Some are at 120 hz, some are at 240. Depending on your needs and preferences. I find that 240 is too fast, making things look too artificial like. Also never needed or even used the 3D features and capabilities on previous sets. So again, it really just depends on what you want / need.

The 6700 has a perimeter lighting where the 700 has full lighting behind the screen. Also the 6700 only has 1 4k port where I believe the 7000 model has several.
