The box will say. Just because you have a 4k TV doesn't mean that your content will always be 4k. Most Television and Cable providers do not broadcast 4k content. Some do. But, streaming companies, like Netflix, have true 4k content. Also, it is highly unlikely that a curved television is not 4k.
